Togo is a small Wertern African country of 57 000 km square, 700 km long for 50 in 100 wide and a population of 6 million inhabitants approximately.

Considered in the 80s ' as small Switzerland of Africa ', it remains after the socio-political confusions of the 90s one of the most charming and pleasant countries of the continent today to be visited.

It shows varied landscapes (maritime facade, mountainous zones, savannas) and a big human wealth, with his about forty ethnic groups and the legendary kindness of his inhabitants.

Formalities of entrance:
Europeans and Africans outside of the Cedeao area need a visa to Togo. Cedeao countries are: Bénin, Burkina Faso, Cap Vert, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambie, Ghana, Guinée, Guinée Bissau, Libéria, Mali, Niger, Nigéria, Sénégal, Sierra Leone, Togo Visa is delivered by the Togolese diplomatic representations abroad, one can also obtain on the ground borders as well as on the arrival to the airport a temporary visa (Validity one week for a price of 10 000 Fcfa) which can be prolonged free of charge until a month by the Immigration services in Lomé, on the condition of depositing the demand before the end of the one-week validity (storehouse of files in the morning, foresee 4 pictures). For vehicles registered in another country, valid pass 1 month and renewable is established on the ground borders by the services of the Togolese Customs (cost 10 000 Fcfa). 			Air sideboard: Air France offers several direct weekly flights between Lomé and Paris Roissy with correspondences towards numerous destinations in France, Europe or the rest of the world. Promotional prices in the off season (Fevrier in June and Seven to Nov), more expensively in high season or if we take ourselves in the last hour there. Royal Air Maroc also proposes several weekly flights with stopover in Casablanca and correspondences towards different destinations in France (Paris, Rennes, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse) and in Europe. Afriqiyah (the National Lybian Company) proposes scheduled flights with stopover in Accra (Ghana) or Cotonou (Benin) and correspondences towards Paris and the other European capitals from Hub of Tripoli. Air Burkina proposes two weekly flights Paris / Ouagadougou and correspondence towards Lomé. Air Ivoire proposes one daily flight to Abidjan with correspondances to Douala and Libreville towards with tha main West African capitals and France. Ethiopian Airlines offers four flights a week to Addis Abbaba with correspondences to Asia and the United States. Air Mali offers flights to Bamako and from there to Paris and Dakar.
